“He who soars not suffers no fall.” – Zen proverb
Players tend to bet less when they have good cards and play bad cards when they should be folding. In online poker, you should be doing the absolute opposite! When you have good cards, BET THEM – dont think along the lines of getting callers, as you are opening up yourself to more failure.

Once when I was in Tunica, Mississippi, a vetran Omaha High Low player gave me a peice of advice to open up my game. We were discussing how the importance of being tight can actually affect your game as you may play too tight.
I have used this secret for my online game, and I can easily say that this was the most profitable online poker secret I have ever used for Omaha high low. Please note: This is not a secret to be used by players just starting in the game. Use my original A2, A3, 23 strategy first, and then use this to bring depth.
Before you sit down at a table, Pick a suit (spades, clubs, diamonds or hearts). Choose that suit, and then every time you receive a hand containing 2 cards of that suit, then you play it! This will give you the ability to open up your range of cards with having a strategy aligned to it. Always keep in mind that playing tight/aggressive is important – however; opening up your range will allow you to build your game stronger and participate in different scenerios.

You open up your cards and see that you have pocket aces. Its a definite instinct to grab your chips and go. Just like in live poker, your online poker game is being observed by your opponents. Take time in your decisions, do not make any impulse acts. Leave your opponents wondering what you are going to do next.

“However, though I don’t want to die, I want to practice so that when I’m faced with death, I’ll think nothing of it” – Suzuki Shosan, Warrior of Zen
The game of online poker cannot and will not be mastered if you do not take into account the idea of complete loss. Prepare yourself for all situations, including losing your stack or your bankroll.

“Good warriors prevail when it is easy to prevail” -Sun Tzu
As other of our online poker secrets have stated, poker is a game of patience, a game of the long run, and a waiting game. It’s not just the game you need to wait on, but your opponents as well. Take advantage of your opponents when they are at their weakest point. This may be after they have lost a few buy-ins or a few big hands OR maybe when they have been playing for a long while and are lacking concentration (time out more frequently) Or it could be that they are starting to play more loose than what they began to do.
Pay attention to your opponents and find when they are breaking down.
