A2, A3, 23 99+
The biggest mistake made in Omaha High Low poker is, players want to play more hands than necessary. The temptation of having 4 cards to choose from can always entice a poker player to just play more, when in all reality – more means less here! If you are starting out playing Omaha High Low, keep this simple rule for yourself. PLAY ONLY A2, A3, 23 and hands with 99 or better. You should be playing between 12 and 16% of your hands here. This will help you in maintaining a tight image at the poker table, along with ensuring you are not chasing hands that are not the best option for you to chase!
