Don’t change the way you are playing poker just because you are losing. The reality in online poker (and live too) is sometimes your good cards just dont hold up, or you just dont get the cards you want. If you feel you are playing good poker and are winning consistently you may have a bad day or two or 10 even! Don’t let these losing days change the way you play or make you start to question the way you are playing.
To ride the rush you have to weather the storm too!

While I dont believe a loose omaha poker player can get away with this as much, I believe that a solid, tight/aggressive poker player would have the ability to play small 4 hands and be quite profitable with these.
When a PLO poker player has a tight image at the table, other players presume that he/she is playing high cards in a range of top 20. So, when a poker player is in a hand with a TAG player, and a low board hits, they will generally throw in a pot bet, assuming that the TAG player would have none of that board.
This is where a tight aggressive poker player has an opportunity to profit large in pot limit omaha. Playing hands such as 2345 or 4556 etc. will allow you to make a larger sum than a high board with a high hand – as players are less likely to believe you!

If you have a hand where you flop a flush draw or an open ended straight draw there are many ways to play your hand.
There is the conventional way of playing them by check calling a bet to see if you hit your card, but sometimes this is too obvious and a half decent poker player isnt going to pay you off when you hit your hand.
Change up the way you play your draws and bet them so that when you hit it doesn’t look like you were on a draw.
The best is to do this in position so that you have other ways to play your hand if you miss your draw. If you don’t hit and you still have the opportunity to take the pot with a bet then that is an option, but if you think that your opponents may call another bet you can always check to see if you hit the river. It is a great way to make money if you hit and a great way to see a free river if you don’t.

Every online poker room offers poker promotions and extra value! And the reality is, every poker player has different needs.
Poker is about making a profit, it is not a popularity contest: You don’t have to play where everyone else is playing just to fit in! Poker is about putting yourself forward and doing what is best for yourself.
You may not think this is an online poker secret; however, this is probably one of the best peices of advice I can give you. Find what you need as a player. Are you a break even or small profit player, but you play often? Rakeback would be great for you. Do you like to try out different rooms and see their quality? Poker Bonus Hunting may be good for you. Are you a grinder? Both Rakeback along with Extra Value packages could be a great benefit. Can you rake a lot quickly? Rake Races would be a great bankroll boost for you! Do you dream about playing in a major poker tournament but dont have a bankroll? Many sites offer sponsorship by rake packages.
Remember, poker isnt only about playing the game itself; its about finding the best possible ways to make you the most profitable poker player.

Sometimes when we play poker, we get into a rhythm and everything is going our way.
A great online poker secret to remember is: You have to be ready to slow down when your run is ending or you will quickly lose what you just won!
When the cards slow down in your poker game, ask yourself “am I playing poorly” or “why am I losing” or “is it time to leave yet”. Look at what hands you are starting to play, it seems like when we all win a couple of hands its effortless and we start to play marginal hands.
